We Will Never Forget: A Reflection on September 10, 2001
On the evening of Monday, September 10, 2001, the world was at peace—at least for most Americans. It was an ordinary night across the country. Parents tucked their children into bed. Workers prepared for the start of a new week. Travelers packed their bags for morning flights. Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics readied themselves for their next shift of service.
None of them knew what awaited just hours later.
