Dakota Johnson strips down in ‘sensual’ Calvin Klein campaign
Dakota Johnson knows a thing or two about sex appeal.
The award-winning actress and “Fifty Shades of Grey” star stripped down for the camera once more as the star of Calvin Klein’s spring campaign, as seen in new photos released Monday, March 9.
The campaign, directed and photographed by Gordon von Steiner, includes several revealing shots of Johnson, 36, during “a relaxing day at home,” an aesthetic meant to showcase the iconic fashion house’s “signature confidence and sensuality, grounded in a refined, less-is-more philosophy.”
“The images and video navigate between subtle sensuality and cheeky humor, removing excess to focus on Calvin Klein’s latest denim fits and underwear innovations,” according to a Calvin Klein press release. “At the center of the narrative is a clear point of view: live confidently.
“I love that this campaign celebrates being comfortable, free and sexy on your own terms,” Johnson said in a press release

Johnson poses topless in several campaign photos, including shots showing the actress leaning casually against a pool table and perched atop a piano in a pair of blue jeans.
“Calvin Klein jeans and underwear have a timeless quality that makes everything feel right the moment you put them on,” Johnson said in a statement. “When a woman is alone at home working or reading or doing whatever, it can feel quite liberating and sensual.”
Another photo from the sultry campaign shows the “Materialists” star, clad in a black Calvin Klein bra, lounging on a pool chair.
For Johnson, the photoshoot’s embrace of sexuality “felt both singular and classic.”
“I love that this campaign celebrates being comfortable, free and sexy on your own terms,” Johnson concluded. “Sometimes, a woman just BEING is the sexiest thing.”

In an interview with Elle magazine published Monday, Johnson opened up about her Calvin Klein collaboration.
“Working with Calvin at this moment feels very symbiotic with where I am currently in my life,” Johnson told the magazine. “I’m at a place in my womanhood where I feel quite calm and centered. I spend a lot of time at home; I feel very comfortable in my body.
“Doing the denim and underwear campaign in the tone of very laid-back sensuality felt like it’s just a sort of truth of where I’m at right now.”
As for dressing the part, Johnson said that when it comes to feel-good fashion, “the sexiest clothing items are the ones that make you feel good in your body.”
“Feeling good in clothes changes your energy and physicality,” Johnson said. “Sometimes being in a big ratty T-shirt is the sexiest thing in the world. Sometimes being in lacy lingerie makes you feel like a garbage can. For me, it’s all about the way something makes me feel.”
